From air conditioning, to an electric golf cart, the Caribbean Hacienda spares no comfort despite being off grid. Thanks to its robust solar system you can retreat from the all encompassing outdoor ecosystem to a modern and luxurious home. The golf cart, the home, worker home, and a floating home in the harbor, all feature lithium batteries for reliable, low maintenance power. The main house has two complete solar systems, and a “float” charge system so when the house batteries fill, they charge the golf cart with the excess solar energy.

The ground floor of the main home has a studio guest suite with a large indoor/outdoor bathroom with spa shower facing the rainforest. Views from the shower cascade down the back of the property into the jungle, and from the bed/living space across over the bay. The guest suite is air conditioned, has its own washer and dryer along with the ensuite bathroom and a kitchenette. Two more ground floor flex rooms are currently used as storage, but they could be converted into a second studio guest suite.

Outside, the covered staircase leads up to the Caribbean Island Hacienda’s main floor, you arrive at the outdoor lounge with ceramic tiles and panoramic views of the bay and beyond, to the green mainland of Bocas del Toro. From this breathtaking arrival, either enter into the home or pass through to the screened in portion of the veranda, which wraps 3 quarters of the home’s exterior. Inside the main floor find an air conditioned guest room with ensuite bathroom, a octogonal living space, a galley kitchen, and a half bathroom.

The top floor is the cherry on top of this incredible home, an octogonal master bedroom and ensuite bath which boast incredible views in every direction.
